“Personal Transformation” is beyond physical transformations, and the method encourages embracing the natural aging process while fostering inner beauty. The practice combines technical movements with a deeper focus on self-appreciation, transforming not just how you look but also how you feel and perceive yourself in the mirror.
While the concept may seem simple, the parallel with traditional body workouts becomes apparent – from neck down to face, muscles respond to contraction and toning. The 43 facial muscles (57 with the neck) benefit from small yet purposeful movements, mirroring the effects of a gym workout. “Muscles are Muscles” infuse a healthy energy into your face for a holistic transformation.
The importance of water in our lives, can’t be emphasized enough, considering how we are largely composed of it and how it plays a role in our bodily functions.
Exercises for position of head to improve the alignment of the body, such as moving the shoulder blades back, stretching the sides of the neck, and aligning the body’s parts in a certain order, can significantly enhance overall appearance and comfort
TMJ Love is a technique designed to address potential issues with the Temporal Mandibular Joint (TMJ), a region where the temporal bone and mandible meet. This technique aims to promote an upward flush from the chin towards the ear, followed by a downward flush in the throat towards the thoracic duct, a part of the lymphatic system.
Incorporate scalp love into your daily routines, whether it’s during a break at work, while waiting at a traffic light, or simply taking a moment to appreciate yourselves. The scalp is considered sacred territory as it encases the brain.
Just by thinking positive and maybe doing some tapping, you can reprogram yourself. There are tapping techniques all throughout the body, but I just wanted to give you a quick little sample to get your party started.
I was there, I looked up to these people, it was life-changing. And I felt for the rest of my trip, a heightened awareness of my own ability to choose to keep my face relaxed. And so from then on, when we were doing our push-ups and we were doing our planks and all sorts of other rigorous activities, I was purposely keeping a smooth forehead.
So if I go like this and pull out, I’m widening across my upper lip. This also helps you get rid of these wrinkles. They’re called in the smoker’s lunge.
But even people that don’t smoke, I see that those lines are very common.
As a yoga instructor years later I was taught that our natural state is joyful and happy and yoga is one way to peel back the layers of grumpiness that keep us from experiencing our true nature. As time went on I came across Chinese meditation techniques that were called the inner smile so I kept getting this from all these different sources.
Now, your life is different, but think about the time and energy that you put into combing your hair, you know, buttoning your shirt properly, putting yourself together. Well, then there’s that self-talk, and this is a really deep subject. These are the words you say to yourself that no one else can hear.
It’s meant to be silly and the purpose is to reactivate and awaken your mouth. So it’s called mouth extremes. And you wanna think about east, west, north and south, it doesn’t really matter which ways which just getting to know yourself.
Not only are you going to get traction in your neck, which will help you have a nice firm, strong neck to keep your head back over your spine, it’s also going to help reverse the effects of gravity through your whole face.
And I can also roll the edge right on my actual muscles, on the back of my head, over my ear. You can get really creative and all sorts of areas. There are so many different layers of muscle in your face.
It literally makes you feel so relaxed, your forehead becomes very smooth. And the original inspiration for this entire method came from my experiences working with monks in my martial arts days and I saw how smooth their forehead was.
So we all know that lifting weights really does work. And when you work your face with resistance training, you actually stimulate the health and strength of your muscles, and they plump up and come to the surface.
It’s just more about learning to love yourself. So make sure when you practice this method that you have a positive attitude. Even take a deep breath and say something like I am bootiful. I love sculptures of the Buddha because they always have a smooth angelic forehead.
This one is called cheek pump. So I’m not suggesting we’re trying to pump our cheeks out this way, but just pump up a muscle.
It’s called the buccinator or bucinator, still not quite sure how to pronounce it, and I just like the way that sounds. It’s the muscle that contracts when you smile.
Happy is the real pretty. This is a little added bonus for you. So I’m going to take this pencil and I’m going to put it here and hold it. When I first tried this, I couldn’t do it. Just like the first time I tried to curl 20 pounds, I couldn’t do it.
