Personal Transformation

"Personal Transformation" is beyond physical transformations, and the method encourages embracing the natural aging process while fostering inner beauty. The practice combines technical movements with a deeper focus on self-appreciation, transforming not just how you look but also how you feel and perceive yourself in the mirror.

Happy is the real pretty is all about personal transformation not only in the physical realm meaning your skin and the muscles of your face but even on a deeper level the level of your spirit or your soul whatever you want to call it. As a yoga teacher I’ve learned that we are not just physical beings – we have an energy body, we have a mental body and we have a spiritual body ( emotional).  They’re all layered upon each other so when you practice happy is the real pretty you’re getting to know yourself.

You’re looking in the mirror. You’re observing what stress patterns you have and then there’s also a certain amount of acceptance.

I was taught by one of my first teachers that acceptance is transcendence so when you accept the fact that you’re not supposed to look the same when you’re 47 that you did when you were 18 there’s a certain amount of peace that comes from that in our culture.

With Hollywood and Photoshop and so much pressure to be perfect we try so hard to keep everything just the way it was when we were teenagers well we’ve all seen that that can create a very unnatural look and I just want to be very clear this method this practice is not against plastic surgery and it’s not against injectables. You can use this to compliment those things if it’s something you choose to do or you could use it as a natural alternative and even on a deeper level the attitude the awareness that you bring to how you talk to yourself how you feel and see when you look in the mirror not seeing the flaws or focusing on the good rather.

That’s cool little moves to change and enhance your face and make the best out of what God or your parents or whatever you believe created you taking what you have and making the most out of it so yes it is technical and we are talking about moving things around and strengthening them.

But even on a deeper level, learning how to see yourself as beautiful and accepting yourself and knowing that there is an aging process and that it is natural, everything grows and then it goes back down.

Circle of life, whatever you want to call it. So age gracefully, have inner beauty and know that that’s what’s real. We all know beauty comes from within. And when you can make them meet in the middle, then you’re going to feel good and the whole thing starts to move in the right direction.

Your attitude, how you look, how you feel, your energy level. And you just learn how to sleep a little more, drink more water, pay more attention to the different patterns that you have in your daily life and then weave in the exercises and the stimulation with the props.

You’ll be amazed how quickly and how great you will start to feel and look.
