Jade Hearts

And I can also roll the edge right on my actual muscles, on the back of my head, over my ear. You can get really creative and all sorts of areas. There are so many different layers of muscle in your face.

Happy is the real pretty. I’d like to take a moment to introduce you to two of my favorite things, jade hearts. So they’re wonderful even when they’re not cold, but if you put them in the refrigerator or even more intense, the freezer, literally life-changing.

So we all know what I mean when I say bags, right? This is a body part of mine that I’ve had to learn how to love and nourish and take care of, or I could see that I was definitely going to end up with some swelling and little wrinkles under my eyes. Now let’s just be honest, we’re all going to end up with some wrinkles under our eyes as life goes on. And I’m not trying to be a preacher and tell you a philosophy that I think is better for you.

So if you do choose to use Botox or fillers, that’s your choice. And this method could be complementary. So you don’t have to choose one or the other.

This could complement that or it could be an alternative, depending on your age and what your goals are. So it could also just be for the soothing benefit. So when you wake up in the morning, you have a little bit of puffiness, you take your cold hearts and you just put them right here and it is instantly relaxing.

If you’ve ever had to ice an injury, you know that you have that cooling, aching, numbing, burning stage and that’s good for a sprained ankle. I would suggest if this starts to really ache or sting, take a little mini break, move it all around and then come back. Then you can use these round edges to go underneath your cheeks like this.

There are all sorts of magical buttons and you have to get creative and figure out what works best for you. I love to press right there. I think I must have a muscle there that holds tension in my jaw and I can open and close my mouth at the same time.

It’s very relaxing. You can also get into the actual muscle right here. If you take your fingertip and feel it, it’s kind of a little lumpy, sore spot and it is sore.

Just like rolling out your legs with a foam roller, this is the same concept. You’re digging in and creating a little movement underneath. You can also take your jade hearts into spaces off your face in your scalp.

So right above the ear, this is one of the spots that I like to call a magic button, which means when you push it, magical things happen. So you’ve got your hearts, you’re going right in there, right at the top of your ear and literally just pressing there is instant relaxation. I can move up literally two millimeters, not very far at all, and then move up again.

And I can also roll the edge right on my actual muscles, on the back of my head, over my ear. You can get really creative and all sorts of areas. There are so many different layers of muscle in your face.

So remember, these are also useful for acupressure, the tender points or the magic buttons. They’re really good for under here and up here in the morning when you want to take that swelling out of your eyes or maybe right before bed. Another use is called gliding.

The real name for these is actually scraper, but I don’t really like the word scrape. I like the word glide. So you take these and you use them for gliding, increasing circulation, moving lymph, which is that liquid under our skin.

You can go this way. I like to do this one when I’m on my back, actually laying down in bed, and I’ll even let my head hang backwards over my edge of my bed to release the face and reverse the effects of gravity. So get creative.

These little hearts represent you loving yourself and you just want to listen to your body, see what you see, make little adjustments, and weave it into your daily life.
