Hi, I’m Yogi Kate, and this is your tutorial on how to use the videos on yogikate .com. First, you’ll decide which body part you would like to give love to. Then, watch the video from beginning to end without actually doing the technique.
Then set yourself up if you need any props and come into the starting position for the video. Watch it again as you go through the technique. Always remember to take your time, listen to your body. You don’t have to do it exactly the way I’m describing it.
Pay attention and then make little adjustments to make it fit for you. Now, there are a few props that help to enhance the different techniques. One of them is a wooden dowel. There’s not an exact size it has to be.
We use this on the bottoms of the feet and sometimes in other techniques with the spine. We also have foam roller. This is 6 by 36 inches. They come in all different densities depending on your cup of tea.
Some people like it firmer, some people like it softer. A yoga block. If possible, the thicker ones are better. Some yoga blocks are about that thick. So one or two yoga blocks are always a good idea.
A mat, nothing special, just a regular yoga mat, and a band. You can even use a towel for some of the techniques, but the band is useful for resistance. All of these products can be purchased through the website or you can go find them on your own.
